Foxtrot

I love Youtube because you can see and listen there your favorit music and check for new ones, you can also can learn a lot including different dances. Here is video of Foxtrot steps following which you can learn to dance this amazing dance!

According to wiki Foxtrot took its name from its inventor, the vaudeville actor Harry Fox; however the exact origins are unclear.[1] The dance was premiered in 1914quickly catching the eye of the talented husband and wife duo Vernon and Irene Castle, who lent the dance its signature grace and style.

W.C. Handy ("Father of the Blues") notes in his autobiography that Noble Sissle told a story that Handy's Memphis Blues was the inspiration for the Foxtrot. Jim Europe, the Castles' music director, would play slowly the Memphis Blues during breaks from the fast paced Castle Walk and One-step. The Castles were intrigued by the rhythm and Jim asked why they didn't create a slow dance to go with it. The Castles introduced the "Bunny Hug" in a magazine article. They went abroad and in mid-ocean sent a wireless to the magazine to change the "Bunny Hug" to the "Foxtrot."[2]

It was later standardized by Arthur Murray, in whose version it began to imitate the positions of Tango.

Dancing Wildly and in Silence!!!

Wow I have just got back from a silent disco and I don’t think I have ever danced so much in my life!! It was the most fun I have had in a long-time and it happened in total silence… well not quite total silence, let me explain. At a silent disco you wear a set of headphones and listen to a DJ playing the best party tunes over these headphones, at this disco there were two DJs so you had the choice of who to listen to. Everybody at the disco wears the headphones and so is dancing to the music but there is no music to be heard if you take off your headphones, only the sound of everybody singing along!
We danced for hours at times I am pretty sure I was dancing to different songs than my friends, but we all agreed we love silent discos and are going to look out for more this summer. In fact I loved it so much I have added a link to my blog, check it out and see if there is a silent disco coming to a field, tent, club or bar near you… just remember to put on your dancing shoes and LETS DANCE!

Dancing TV Show

I guess that all of us love to dance. As to me - I love it very much and use every moment off to dancing. So, probably the popularity of Dancing TV shows is so highly successful and atractive to people, there are a number of reasons why this show has become so popular over the years.

It's also important that most of the participants on the show become professional choreographers, actors, models and performers. There are many dancing TV shows and at the same time there are most favorite ones, such as So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars and America's Best Dance Crew.

Tango

Even though I had pushed through the Tango album, it was just not a very good environment to be in on a daily basis. In many ways, this is the best time of my life.
Lindsey Buckingham

I am only interested in bad taste if I can enjoy a gruesome tango or watch a movie that makes me cry.
Manuel Puig

I had to do a tango with Raft and I learned to dance in ballet shoes with my knees bent.
Marie Windsor

The money part is one of the most difficult things. Coppola always said I should do a tango movie. If it hadn't been for him, I don't know where we would have gotten the money.
Robert Duvall

The tango is really a combination of many cultures, though it eventually became the national music of Argentina.
Yo-Yo Ma

We believe that we should come to an agreement with the Palestinians. But we need two to tango.
Silvan Shalom

You just can't take a crash course to be a tango dancer in a movie.
